Projects

Growing demand for power at the Leeds General Infirmary has led to the requirement for an additional 2 MW substation, plus a 1 MW generator and associated LV switchgear on the Clarendon Wing site.

Bowes Museum occupies the 19th Century mansion built by John Bowes, a local successful businessman who, together with his wife, collected European art in the later half of the 19th Century. The project was for the complete refurbishment of some existing office areas and conversion into the Streatlam Galleries, to enhance the museums facilities.

The first phase of the project was to install a 450 KVA supply to the ‘stage’ services load centre. The new supply comprising 2 x 225 metres 240 mm2 cables installed in parallel underground from a nearby building.
